WELCOME TO MALLORCA CULTURA 2018

Mallorca Cultura was founded in 2010 with the idea of organizing cultural events with Spanish and international artists in Mallorca. A special focus is on the personal character of the events and the special ambience of the venues.

Nina Heidenreich – Violinist

After studying in Würzburg, Vienna and Graz, Nina Heidenreich was Concertmaster of the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2016 she was Principal of the Second Violins at the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, founded and directed by Lorin Maazel. From 2016 to 2017, she held the same position at the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid. Since 2017, she lives with husband and daughter Amelie on Mallorca, where she is particularly dedicated to chamber music. Since 2018 she is co-director of Mallorca Cultura.

 

Martin Breuninger – Journalist, Writer

Martin Breuninger has been organizing concerts, music seminars and other cultural events since 2007. He was editor of the Berlin city magazine "zitty", the youth radio DT64 and staff of the news radio MDR INFO. Since April 2000 he lives in Mallorca and is the cultural editor of the German-language weekly magazine "Mallorca Magazin". His book "Mallorca's forgotten history" about the life of the German island residents of the 1930s has been published by the publisher vitolibro.
